Stargazing video series - COVID19 fundraising effort
PROBLEM: Due to COVID-19, theatres across the country were forced to close indefinitely. The North Carolina Theatre needed to continue engaging their audience while they had no ability to put on any performances. After interning at NCT the previous summer, allowing me the chance to showcase my video editing skills, the Marketing Director reached back out and asked me to join the project.
SOLUTION: In response to the high demand by their audience, NC Theatre reached out to me to create a video series spanning 5 episodes, hosted by the theatre’s Artistic Director Eric Woodall, which would highlight star performers who worked with the theatre over the years. Each episode focused on a new set of stars, ranging from longtime Broadway performers to local celebrities. Along with the edited episodes, NCT asked me for promotional graphics and branding for the project as they continued to promote it all through the pandemic.
OUTCOME: A five part video series featuring over 15 stars from all over the world, ranging upwards of 500 views on each episode on youtube - and more on social media platforms.
